About the event
Join the Movement: Designing Progression – Pathways Out of Poverty for Working Parents
Child poverty in the North East is at crisis levels. With over 118,000 children affected, most from working families, it’s clear: there’s no time to wait.
Designing Progression is a hands-on, collaborative workshop led by Edge Innovation, bringing together businesses, charities, designers, and public sector leaders to co-create solutions that help low-income parents take on more hours, responsibility, or training and make work a real route out of poverty.
Rooted in the North East's bold Child Poverty Strategy No Time to Wait, this workshop aligns with key priorities of boosting incomes, improving access to jobs and childcare, and driving regional commitment. If you’re ready to turn urgency into action, join us to design lasting change for families across the North East.
