Building Bridges with the Dr. Alan Reece Makerspace

In this Open Studios session, visit the Stephenson Building's makerspace. See the project spaces and making facilities open to Newcastle University's students and staff, as well as the materials testing labs and mechanical workshop. You'll build Newcastle's iconic bridges using our laser cutters and compression test machines to see what force they can withstand.

The session will be led by Bradley Syron and Paul Scott.
